I really enjoyed last season. I nanny so my son and the child I watched enjoyed the show together. He doesn't seem to like the season as much as last. At first I thought you got a different Dee-Dee then I looked at the credits and realized she was the same. We still watch your show but we were a little dissappointed with the new season. The original set up was so much more appealing. We still love the Doodlebops, but maybe toning it down a bit and making it more like the original season would be better. Thanks

I watch the show usually with my 4 year old niece. It's a great show. Moe is def. hot. But can we see pictures of them without makeup on?? lol

My 3 year old daughter and I recently just discovered the show and she is already kinda starting to sing the line "we're the doodlebops" during the day. Yeah, I think she likes it, just a little..lol

I agree with many of the comments here -- the 2nd season of The Doodlebops isn't nearly as good as the 1st. Our 2-year-old daughter fell in love with these characters and their songs before she was even a year old. She loved to sing along with the songs and dance in front of the tv. But the new, flashy, glitzy sights and jazzed-up sounds don't hold her interest at all. My husband and I were sure there was a new DeeDee, but evidently she's lost some weight and has a new costume and a new look (great for her; not so great for my daughter's taste). As talented as the new Jazz might be, she's no Mazz. Our daughter used to get so excited when Mazz said "See you later, alligator" and everyone sang while she walked away. Now she barely watches. She thought the show was over when it first began because they now play they're ending song in the beginning too. There aren't as many songs and no real message in the shows we've seen so far; just a lot of recording studio stuff and odd bus rides. And the songs don't talk to the children like they used to, especially the last song of each show. We bought our daughter a Doodlebops lunch tote and DeeDee t-shirt for her birthday (pink, of course), and she loves them and she loves to watch the old shows we taped and to listen to the old music we captured, but it's sad to see her disappointed and confused about the new show. We wish the producers hadn't made all of these changes. (Great job with this Web site, by the way!)

some are the changes are good and some are not. the makeup and hair look more natural and probably better for deedee, moe and rooney. you have to remember this show is supposed to be geared toward little kids and there is just too much going on now. my 30 month old and 13 month old won't watch the new episodes. and forget about jazz! where the heck did you find her? shes trying way to hard and it shows. bring back mazz!!

My daughter of 18mo used to love watching the doodlebops, but now with the new format-costumes-songs and charaters she is just not interested. As her mom I liked watching also, but the new season of shows is just not the same - I do not like Jasmine- I enjoyed Mazz - better actor !!

The season two is really stupid and they should change it back because they are really wierd. CHANGE BACK!!!

I am a father of a two year old boy who loves the doodle bops. The changes were, in my opinion, a little much however. Took my son a few viewings to get "reaccquainted" with his old friends. But I must say to all the mothers that have postd about DeeDees new "skimpy" outfit: ENOUGH! Watch the old episodes and you will notice that the length hasn't changed dramatically but it's the absence of the ring in the bottom of the skirt that flaired it out! Last season my wife pointed out 2 different occasions where during her jumping you could see her "bloomers". Not to mention that she's wearing stretchy pants under the whole outfit! Maybe living in New York my idea of skimpy is different but you people need to get over the new outfit. As far as the Jazz for Mazz switcheroo, it took some explaining to make it work for my son but niether him now I are enamored with the new character.

I just want to say that I LOVED the Doodlebops before the new season, so did my 19 month old daughter. Now when it comes on, she doesn't even pay attention. When I turn the 1st season on, she pays attention and dances and says "oolbops". I think there are too many changes. Like others have said, there is too much "flashiness". I liked the Doodlebops because they were simple and sang great songs. This just shows you what happens when a show gets "big"; you have more money for more unneeded changes. Sorry to say, but you lost a fan.

The new Doodlebops just aren't that great. Change it back. My son isn't nearly as interested this season. Bring Mazz back! Bring back the old outfits and ditch the special effects. This is a rock band for pre-schoolers not Revenge of the Sith! Seriously, don't thy have focus groups to tell them stuff like this? This group seems focus group enough to suggest the new show is not liked the way the old one was. Jazz is weak by comparison. My son loved Mazz andwould dance up a storm when she came on. Not he just stares at Jazz and seems confused. DeeDee's new outfit is more "form fitting" than last season. That's okay for me, but was that a necessary change?

The new season is not what I expected. There are way to many changes. The costumes are not flattering and it looks as if the bops have been smoking way to many cigarettes. What is up with the yellow teeth? Again, way to many changes at one time! The show seems to have lost its charm, which was a unique type of fun based on simplisitic activities and song. Bob is great! Jazz is not to impressive, active, or in my opinion talented. Not the role model I have in mind for my child. I do not understand why they had to go and mess up a good show and simple concept!

We too miss the "old/seaon one" Doodlebops. My 14month old son always stopped what he was doing when he would hear the opening song or "Get on the Bus". The opening song still gets his attention, the the bus song doesn't phase him anymore. It's too "green-screen" I thought maybe he was just growing board or used to it all, but yesterday one of the seaon one shows was on and he had his old reaction. He stops, runs to the tv and dances. I don't like the new recording studio sceens. It doesn't apear to be as spontanious and fun-loving. It looks like it's more of a job now. And JAZZ........ good try, but no. WE WANT MAZZ!!! WE WANT MAZZ!!! I hope they come to DENVER this year. I know my son would LOVE to see them!

My son(4) absolutly loves the Doodlebops.He became even more interested when He saw the new season. The only thing that he didn't like was Jazz he absolutly loved mazz and asked where she was.

My son absolutely LOVES the Doodlebops!! IT is the only time during the day that he actually sits still and he is almost mesmerized. The show is really cute and I have even heard my husband singing along!!! I am so excited to hear that toys will soon be available--where will we be able to make our purchases?????

I love Deedee's new look. She looks 100 times better now. I especially love her new dress. I also love her bangs which is half light pink and half dark pink and I think that looks so cool. Deedee looks more beautiful in season 2 than she did in season 1.

Myself and my 4 year old and 1 year old twins watch everyday. They dance and sing the songs. My four year old wants to know if they are a musical family does that mean they have a mommy and a daddy. I like the changes but think that they all need eyeliner since the lack makes their features look washed out.

Please, please tell me you are going to make dolls of the Doodlebops. We just saw the show in Saskatoon tonight, which was FANTASTIC!!!! My daughter (2 and a half) would melt over a Deedee doll! And my son (5 yrs) would love a Rooney "action figure ;)! Thanks again, you guys rock! Kim

Where is Mazz????? I agree with previous writers that Jazzmine seems like a wannabee, doesn't have the same energy level, and lacks personality. We don't care about references, BRING BACK MAZZ!!!!

I am a mother of 1 1/2 year old twins who LOVE the Doodlebops!! We started watching the end of the last season & we all really enjoyed it. It had my daughter dancing around & my son was beating on everything as if it was a drum.

I must say, when we saw the first episode from the new season, I was shocked. I was a little disappointed in DeeDee at first, but now I think her new look is cute. Rooney & Moe are still great, my daughter loves to play hide & seek with Moe, it's the cutest!

But what we were most disappointed with was the disappearance of Mazz. She was great with her catchy sayings. That new character "Jazz" is AWFUL!! She looks like she is ready to fall over or something, that was definitely not a good choice for the show. And what's up with Audio Murphy?? He is a little weird, I think we could really do without that whole skit. Bus Driver Bob is still the same great, chubby Bob - DON'T CHANGE HIM TOO!

And last but not least, why did you cut out a part of the end song?? You took out the best part, which was thanking the kids???

I watch the Doodlebops with my one year old grandaughter and I thourally enjoy the show and so does my grandaughter they need more shows like this one for the children, very refreshing indeed.

I guess they should have started with an episode about how things change and how things and people may be different, but that doesn't make them better or worse - just different - because many parents seem to need these lessons.

Why should the guys be able to wear normal-fitting clothes with Deedee going around in that weird hoop skirt? Now she has a normal dress that's easier for her to move in. And shame on those of you commenting on Jazz's size and teeth. Would you want your kids saying things like that? And how does someone peg Murphy as a Simpsons ripoff and not get that Deedee's the same actress as last season? I've seen all of the new season, and it's great. There's even some live singing in there for once! And the edits are much less distracting than they were. The show's actually simpler than it was. I think they really mean well. If the kids don't like it as much, fine, and they'll probably make some more changes to help. But the nastiness is just wrong.

My 1 1/2 year old just loves this show. I purchased the first 2 dvd's for him. It's the only show that he asks to watch. But why did you change Mazz? Jazz is just not as good. I wanted to say I love the change of the outfit for DeeDee, I had to look at the credits to see if she was a diffrent actress. She looks great. But some of the changes are not so good, like Maz leaving, she was great and my 22 month old daughter liked her and when she sang....loved to dance to her. They all look good and refreshed. Some of the changes are good but some of the graphic changes are way too much. My daughter loved the first season but she does not get up as much and dance.

I must admit that I look forward to watching the Doodlebops every morning. I'm dressing my 20 month old son as the intro begins. We get to watch about 15 minutes before we have to walk out the door (I'm a teacher)...but his sitter has it on the Disney Channel when I drop him off. Anyhow- I did notice the difference in DeeDee and I missed Moe saying, "That was refreshing!" after he pulled the rope. That Audio "whatever" character was not impressive whatsoever. I agree with one of the other comments about him being "ghetto." I hope you consider bringing Mazz back- she was just so much more of a natural entertainer, ya know? Jazz just doesn't have that...that.....she's just not convincing. I love the old look the Doodlebops had. Please change them back before you have an e-riot on your hands! I know I've complained throughout this message- but all in all, I LOVE THE SHOW! You reeled me in and I just hope we can get back to the way it used to be! Thanks!

look im a new parent and had many concerns on what to let my daughter watch since just about every show on tv is either to violent or to mature for the ages there targeting. so when my wife and i were channle surfing to find something for our daughter to watch and tuned in to the doodlebops we have not missed a day whether it be a rerun or not we just enjoy watching our daughter dance to all the songs and laugh to all the silly jokes.but now with all the changes our little one has lost some intrest as we have to starting with deedee's new outfit come on guys im not a prude and niether is my wife but we watched u guys for a reason kids grow up to quick now please dont contrbute like everything else. go back to your old format......and from what ived read here on your site u might be losing lots of veiwers if you dont

How shocking!!! What happened? Where did the Doodlebops go? This is so disappointing!!! My 2 year old LOVES the old Doodlebops but everytime she sees the new version of the show, she says "I no like this Doodlebops." We miss the actors who played DeeDee and Maz, the set, the music, the storyline,... everything! Why did you do this?????? This is a totally different show and it is aimed more at teens. It's no longer a kid show. What's with the tight short dress on DeeDee? We absolutely don't like the new show. I was hoping I was watching was an old pilot show. Why wasn't there some kind of advertising done if you were going to make such monumental changes to this show? Pleae change it back!

i just love the dooblebops. i'm the mother of a 4 month old little girl and she just LOVES watching the doodlebops. i think its an excellent show for little ones. we sure hope they stick around for a long time, especially since they are coming to the u.s. i'd love to be able to take my daughter to one of the shows. :)
