The Doodlebops are practicing a new song. The music is done, but they have no words to go with the music.

When Mazz arrives, she offers her grocery list for inspiration to get words. The Doodlebops try it, but it doesn't work. It is at this time that they decide to sing about things they see while out and about today.

DeeDee is sent a package with red tap shoes inside. What she doesn't know is that the shoes are magic. As long as the shoes are on her feet, she can't stop dancing. Just like the character in her favorite book, The Red Shoes.

Mazz thinks Rooney and Moe are worried about nothing. She has never seen magic shoes.

DeeDee dances all day, and is still dancing when the concert begins. Finally, Rooney has a plan to get the shoes of her feet, and it works!

The Bad Day

Mazz is having a very bad day. She fell out of bed, bumped her head, and things kept going bad from there.

When the Doodlebops asked her if she got mad or frustrated, she said no, she counts to ten. She then sang a song about this to the Doodlebops.

When DeeDee breaks her keyboard, then her tambourine, she counts to ten. She then declares that it does work!

After each Doodlebop experiences the need to count to ten it is time to leave. But where is Bus Driver Bob, and their bus? It really is a bad day for the Doodlebops. Even Bus Driver Bob is having a bad day.

Would the day get better? Of course, this is the Doodlebops!

The Doodlebops counted to ten many times in this show. That is a great lesson for children learning to count.

A thunderstorm scares DeeDee. Rooney and Moe don't get scared until the lights go out. When they start to hear strange noises, Rooney suggest that they find the source of the noise so they won't be scared anymore. While investigating, they find Professor Noise, who has many noise-making toys.

It is a noisy scary day for the jumpy Doodlebops. Then they find that Bus Driver Bob is afraid of ladybugs. Moe suggests Bob learn more about them so that he won't be scared.

When the mail arrives, each Doodlebop gets a letter. Moe's reads, "I love you Moe". Mazz sends them a unique Jack in the box, with her own picture on it. The fan mail then begins to arrive. They promise Mazz they can answer all of it before the concert. The Doodlebops get busy when they hear a parade. They want to watch but have letters to respond to.

They decide the letters can wait, and run outside to watch the parade, but it is over. Then they notice that their fan mail is blowing away. They quickly rush to get it back.

When Bus Driver Bob arrives, the letters still are not done. Fortunately, they are able to finish the letters on the bus. They kept their promise to Mazz.

Today there is no joke, instead Mudge is dancing, and talks to DeeDee briefly.
