Cauliflower Power

The Doodlebops want a snack, and in the fridge they find Cauliflower. Rooney has never had it before and refuses to some because he doesn't like it. He insists he knows he won't like it. DeeDee and Moe think he should try something new.

Mazz, DeeDee, and Moe try several different ways to interest Rooney, such as cauliflower with chocolate on top, but he wants nothing to do with it.

The Doodlebops go outside to a skate park. Rooney has never done it before and finally decides to try. He really is good, and has so much fun he doesn't want to leave.

At the concert, Rooney finally decides to try the cauliflower, after all, he did enjoy the skate boarding and had never done it before. Of course, he finds that cauliflower is good, and begins to eat more.

Today's Joke
Not really a Joke, DeeDee goes to talk to Mudge and he is dancing, wearing Hawaiian clothing, doing a hula.

The amazing world famous Doodlebop band does everything together, from work to play. Each Doodlebop has a song they want to do for the concert. After arguing, they each split up to work on their tunes, but each decides their tune is missing something.

They decide to go outside and play together, and enjoy a fun game of basketball in the park before Bus Driver Bob picks them up. They continue their argument on the bus to the concert. Finally, Mazz helps them realize that they all go together.

Today's Joke
DeeDee keeps asking why Mudge has celery in his ears. Mudge keeps yelling what? Finally Mudge replies that he can't hear her because he has celery in his ears.

The Doodlebops are superhero's for the day. DeeDee is Twirl-around-o-girl, Rooney is Super-Cleaner-Upper, and Moe is Mighty Loud Moe. Today, capes and glasses masks complete their outfits. They are ready to be superhero's but have one problem. Who can they help?

Mazz, also known as Miracle Mazz the Rhyming Queen enters the room, but offers no advice. Finally the Doodlebops decide that Mudge is in need of their help, since they have never seen him smile. They each try to tell him a joke, but Mudge still refuses to smile. They even try taking him to the park, but that doesn't work either. Finally they get Mudge to smile when they make him a superhero. Mudge becomes Mudge the Wonder Cat, and smiles broadly.

Moe is upset that he is so short, and wants to grow taller so he can reach high items. The Doodlebops and Bus Driver Bob try to help Moe Realize that it is okay to be small because he will grow.

Rooney loves birds, and uses his binoculars to look at them. Today he sees a Robin, and tells DeeDee and Moe that he really wants to see the very rare Bandy-Legged Bubble-Brained Booby Bird. While Rooney is telling them about it, Moe sees it, but Rooney turns around to late to see this rare bird. This happens throughout the day, but every time DeeDee or Moe see the Bandy-Legged Bubble-Brained Booby Bird, Rooney always turns around to late and just sees a blue feather.

Finally before the first song at the concert, when the crowd tells Rooney to look behind him, he gets his first glimpse of the Bandy-Legged Bubble-Brained Booby Bird, and the bird then stays for the song.

Junk Funk (Final Show of Season 1)

Today the Doodlebops can't find their instruments and call Mazz for help. They mope around since the instruments are gone, and Mazz shows them that they are not needed to make music. Mazz introduces them to Junk Funk, where they can use standard household instruments to play music.

After doing this for a bit, they decide to retrace their steps to find the instruments. They check the street, the grocery store, the bus, and finally end up at the concert hall, where they left their instruments after Saturday's concert. Even with the instruments, they decide to play Junk Funk without them first.
