Doodlebop Skits that appear in every showWhile each of these shows are different they all have many of the same skits. In this article, I will be consolidating the episodes, breaking them down to what is the same in each show.
Each episode of The Doodlebops begins with their very catchy theme song, "We're The Doodlebops." Be careful, lending an ear to the Doodlebops may get you singing!
After the theme song come the Where's Moe segment. This will appear in each and every episode of The Doodlebops. Moe likes to hide. Sometimes DeeDee will ask the Moose hanging on the wall if he knows where Moe is hiding. Other times she will ask the Busts above the shelf if they know where he is. Eventually Moe is found, and the show continues.
The Doodlebop Pledge is a fun part of the show, and children who have watched all week probably already have it memorized.
After the pledge, the Doodlebops sing, dance, or play around for a few minutes. Then Mazz arrives. Mazz only speaks in rhyme during each appearance.
Mazz always exits with the words: See ya later alligator. After Mazz leaves, Moe pulls the rope amid a chorus of 'don't pull the rope' from fans and the other Doodlebops and characters from the show. Then once again, the Doodlebops may sing, dance, or just play for a few minutes while waiting for their ride to the concert hall.
Bus Driver Bob arrives. The Doodlebops enter the bus, singing 'Get on the Bus'. Some episodes have the full version of this song. Others just use a portion, combined with other music or dancing.
The bus arrives at the concert hall for the day. The Doodlebops speak with Mazz, and then she introduces them to the crowd. They sing two songs, one being the song carrying the theme of today's show. DeeDee speaks to Mudge the Cat, usually telling a knock knock joke.
They sing the Doodlebop Ending Theme Song, leaving you with the catchy tune you heard at the beginning of the show.
