My 3 year old loved the Doodlebops Season 1! But Season 2 opening this week, Dee Dee does appear to be played by a different actress, which is distracting (maybe b/c they changed hte make-up?)...the sound quality doesn't sound as good, I struggle to hear the songs over the music..there's too much flashy wardrobe (what's with the shiny jackets)...I used to watch it with my 3 year old, but I can't stand the new format...I don't think making videos is great lesson material for kids, I like the first season shows much better than what's been aired in season 2 so far...We also liked Maz (although truthfully haven't had enough Jazzmine to comment on the replacement - was this ever acknowledged on the show? we must have missed it). Also, my 3-year old was never scared by the talking lady heads....it's just another change when the original was already good....Glad Bus driver Bob is still there! Moe still seems the same! Glad some things haven't changed...

just have a few questions for season 2. WHY CHANGE A GOOD THING!. The doodlebops were great (according to my son) the way they were. The vivid makeup, headpieces and clothing were amazing. I'm sure they were hot and uncomfortable but the kids really loved it and it was so different than anything else I have seen. The format of the show last season was great too. It was simple and taut wonderful lessons in a way preschoolers could understand. Now it's a litle too over the top. What happended to the eding song and thanking the kids and pointing to them- that was so wonderful and instilled great manners and showed the kids that they were really valued. It's all about the kids, right? and what they like and what they will learn. Small changes are fine, but big chages kids really notice. It's unfair to the kids to change something so much and go on as it nothing has happended (kids are not dumb), especially when they really loved somthing so much just the way it was.

Please fix the eye makup. Liked last year's eye look better. Their eyes look like Barney Rubble without the outstanding eye treatment on the characters last year. I've got a big screen and they look bad.

My son is Two and he is very disappointed by the new Dee Dee. He keeps asking what's wrong with her. She's not as warm as the old actress. They should at least give her the same hair and eye make up to make the change less obvious. My son had us turn off the show today. This was the first time that ever happened.

I too don't like change at all and agree that I don't like Jazz at all! The only saving grace in my opinion is that Bus Driver Bob is still the same! Please don't ever change him. Not only does my 2 year old love this show but my 10 year old son and 39 year old husband adore Deedee Rooney and Mo! We have been watching since the begining and don't plan on stopping however we are very disappointed in the changes. I agree with another viewer when they stated that it was as if they picked someone off the street and put them in a costume and named them Jazz. She doesn't seem to have the "stuff" the Mazz had. She doesn't seem as warm and friendly toward the Doodlebops as Mazz did and don't think that you can just switch one full figured black woman for another and no one will notice. You need to have the same personality or better for people to be happy with the changes. As for Deedee's dress and the foam ears being gone, well, to be honest, I didn't even notice that change because the songs and the personality of the group shone right through all that before so it wasn't all that noticable to me and mine. In regards to the makeup...who walks around with all that stuff on their faces anyway? Why change it? That was what made them special...remember the rock group Kiss? Remember how much popularity they lost when they too their makeup off? Well I think that you can make out what the Doodlebops look like more now than before and it ruins the illusion of the characters if you can see their real faces. I understand that whats done is done but maybe producers should have polled some really fans before filming the entire second season. After all, isn't it the fans who made a second season possible?

I DO NOT like the new Doodlebops season. My Neice used to dance and laugh and point and be happy when watching them & now shes stands there staring at the TV. I know shes confused and I dont think she likes it. Theres too much animation now, what was wrong with it before? AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON DEEDEE'S NEW OUTFIT! She was fine before & now she looks too trashy! ITS A KIDS SHOW FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!
On the Disney Channel. Raven doesnt even dress like that.
Just change it back to the old ones.

I would love to give my soon-to-be 4yr old daughter a Doodlebops Birthday party, but can't find any party suppies!

We watched the doodlebops today, for the first time in a little while and the VERY FIRST thing I see is a NEW DeeDee Doodle. But as I read these posts it seems like only a few people are questioning it. There is NO way a little make up is going to change her voice, OR her chest size!(my husband noticed this :) I Even had to look really really close at Rooney, because he looked so weird. I don't like the new set up, but I thought the new Deedee did really well. My kids like it every once in awhile so it doesn't bother me. I hope the Doodlebop web site or at least the disney site will let us in on who the new DeeDee is.

Please bring Kim Roberts back as Mazz. She was a cornerstone of the show!

I think you should have party supplies. My 10 month old little girl loves your show. I wanted to do her party in doodlebops but I can't find the stuff for it.

I watched the second season for the first time today, and was surprised with all of the changes. I have a two and four year old. They both enjoyed the Doodlebops last season, and appeared to like the episode today also. They weren't as excited about the songs, but they watched. My 4 year old and I were totally confused about DeeDee. She looked completely different to me, but he finally said, 'she looks differenct, but she's still DeeDee'. I noticed the change in her hair and her short outfit immediately. I didn't care about the hair, but the shorter outfit? Why?? This show is for little kids; not teenagers. I was concerned that her dress was a bit too short, and she might give us a peek of her 'bloomers'...yikes. Secondly, please for the sake of the parents watching...cut some of the giggling she does. Ugh!

The guys are just as fun and adorable as ever. Moe appears to be the favorite from this website, but I for one like Rooney with his gentle charm and inquisitive nature. He reminds me of my son.

I have to agree with the other viewers by saying that the bus driver is absolutely wonderful. He is too fun. Mazz was incredible. Too bad you couldn't keep her on. You probably should have considered giving her a raise to stay. She was awesome...not just a filler character...not at all!!! I agree that maybe the new Jazz lady is trying to be a Mazz...that won't work. Even tho your episode today was about switching characters...it didn't work with Jazz and Mazz.

I was upset that they didn't go outside. Kids today don't go outside enough. It was nice to see these characters leave home/work and enjoy the environment and sunshine. Now they are stuck in a studio? Every episode? I hope not. Appears this new scene took away from the concert at the end of the show too. The three to four songs at the end of the show is what got my kids moving and excited. My 2 year old daughter would dance and run around during the concert. Not today...she just sat.

About the other changes...I totally missed the ears thing, and didn't notice the 'major' changes in make-up. I thought the bus changes were a bit much. The umbrella was ridiculous, but the stage opening up was fun. The concert scene with the shiny outfits and all the graphics did take away from the characters. This show used to be simple; like Sesame Street. A show that has endured because they never veered away from the originality of simplistic, but innovative concepts and ideals. The Doodlebops was truly an original show, but it appears it gave into the 'hype' of pop culture, high tech, and flash. That's too bad. We'll keep watching, and hopefully you won't disappoint.
Thanks for listening...a mom in Oklahoma.

I really like the the doodle bops I htink moe is really cute but is very hard to find picture on him.

I love Jonathan Wexler he is so HOTT!!! I am 13 and I am the biggest fan I have so many posters on my walls. and i never miss a show because school stars at 9:00AM so i have time to

I am a mother of an 8 month old, and believe it or not she loves the Doodlebops. Whenever they come on she stops what she is doing, crawls to the t.v. and laughs at it. However, she has not done that since she has started watching the new season. I don't know why. Maybe it's because there is so much going on, that she can't follow it as well.

I don't like it as well either. I feel that the Doodlebops have taken on the look of more of a junior high rock group and not that of a childrens' show. Dee Dee's dress is too skimpy, the music is to rocky and not as fun for little ones, the new Mazz has a great voice but no personality, and there are too many computer generated spots now. I liked it when it was more simple and kid friendly. Bring back the old Doodlebops!

A friend of ours introduced us to the Doodlebops, and since then, we cant stop watching. We love everyone in the cast. Keep rockin!!

she just has a different wig on its the same person those's are her bothers. my kids like them. FROM FALLBROOK CA

My 5-year-old daughter has always liked the Doodlebops. We're happy to see some new episodes...you can only watch the same episode so many times, ya' know? She really likes Dee Dee's new hair and costume, and it's really cute the way that their costumes glitter when they're on stage now. She likes Dee Dee's new "piano guitar" and also really likes Audio Murphy.

As a parent, personally I don't care for the idea of Audio Murphy. Don't you think ENOUGH stuff is centered around rap, hip-hop and DJing in our world without dragging a kid's program into it too?? Also, it has ALWAYS bothered me that the DoodleBops lipsynch and NEVER play their own instruments. What's up with that? Kids aren't stupid ya' know! The DoodleBops are no Wiggles, that's for sure. I know that the Wiggles lipsynch on their TV program, but not when they're live. The least you could do is get Mo some REAL drumsticks, so it at least LOOKS like he's playing the drums. A new set, costumes, etc. are all fine and dandy, but if they can't even do their own live performances, it's still just a bunch of crap.

But that's just MY opinion...

Hi, I happen to agee with most of the parents. The new MAZZ is horrible. She has no personality. I hope the old MAZZ did not get fired because she was great. The new JAZZ I think is even missing teeth. Grosss. Anyway Moes hair is way tooo short. It looks like a mullet from the 80's. Dee Dee's outfit is also ridiculous. It makes her look like she has no boobs at all. She could be a boy for cying out loud. She is just adorable and to tighten and shorten her skirt for toddlers is ridiculous. I love short skirts and DEE DEE definatley has the body for it, but not for a toddler show. Unless she is trying to land a hot single dad, its just dumb. Change them back please. They are fun and kids loved them before, now their just creepy!!!!!

Oh my gosh I LOVE THE DOODLEBOPS they are soooooo cool I think that the new episode are wierd but I still cant get enough of the doodlebops!! I'am 13 years old and I have no problem wakeing up any erlier to watch the doodlebops. I cant wait to see them tomorrow!! My friends and I love them. I have a poster on my wall that has I love the Doodlebops on it for gosh sakes I'am I love!! I never ever liked any other show as much as I like the Doodlebops. Moe is my favorite one. He is so cool. My favorite song is the song about when Moe wants to be taller. I also know the Doodlebop pledge by heart. This website is the coolest ever. I once again will say I LOVE THE DOODLEBOPS!!!!!! Cant wait to get the CD. I know almost all the songs by heart. It is sooo cool. Also can you put a picture of all of them without the make-up??? Just interested.
