We simply do not like the "New Doodlebops". My grandson is 19 months old and used to sit and watch them faithfully. The new format simply does not keep his attention. Sorry, but last year's season was better. Even the choreography isn't what it used to be.

What happened to Mazz??!!! She was one of the main reasons my six year old watched the DoodleBops with her 19 month old brother. This new Jazzmin is nice, but doesn't have that extra "it" factor on personality chrisma. If you keep Jazz, then I think you should work on getting her more up-beat tempos. Her song tempos are just too low and slow. Not to mention you have her dressing all funky as my six year old states. Either bring back Mazz or fix Jazz. As for the Doodles themselves....they are still great!

I was so excited for season 2 of Doodlebops. Playhouse Disney hardly advertised the new season at all.As a whole family we are very unhappy with all the changes. My 2 yr old son loved Mazz and is so confused it's heartbreaking. My 9 & 12 yr old daughters watched the 1st episode 2x to get all their notes together about how much they didn't like it.The 12 yr old immediately got on the pc to send an email-too many changes for her brother. The songs stink and the make-up is horrible.DeeDee looks anorexic now.At least they kept the original Bops and Bob.

I saw the new version for the first time yesterday, and I found myself hoping that they were re-showing the original pilot episode before it got re-worked. Unfortunately, apparently I'm wrong. Why, why, why did they get rid of Mazz??? Also, what's with the new make-up? It's even more distracting than the old makeup was. I have a 3 year old who loved watching them, but now she asks to watch something else. Please change it back-- or at the very least, bring back Mazz!!

hehe...i'm 14 and i love Moe!!! he reminds me of me!!!! lol...the doodlebops are awesome...please don't change it!! where would we be without kid shows??? haha...i love Moe's hair!!! eh, i pretty much love Moe!!

My kids were glued to the "New Doodlebops" as my 3 year old called it. They seem to like "Jasmine" but Mazz was so much better. This woman seems to be forcing herself to move and sing. I think season 2 is great. I think Dede looks so much better. Thanks for not changing Bus Driver Bob - he is a kick. I do wish Rooney would be a little more manly but that is just who he is... They also like the Doodlebops.com website with the games.

WHERE IS MAZ???????????

The Doodlebops are GREAT, and was the first program that grabbed my daughters attention...I have 3 kids ages 18,17 years, and 16 months, so needless to say I am watching childrens TV again. What a great show you have going, but I happen to agree with some of the comments I have read. The only thing I can add is that the music seems to drown out the singing. Change is good, but not too much (especially when you are talking about toddlers), and that's what I am seeing...too much change. We live in Northern Michigan, and want to see the Doodlebops in concert. When will you release the USA tour dates? We live close enough to Canada to attend the concert in London,(thats only 3 weeks away though) but would rather see them here.

Thank you Doodlebops!

My daughter is 2 years old and she loves the Doodlebops. I mean LOVES the Doodlebops! She gets so excited when the music starts and she runs to the tv and is glued for the next 30 minutes. I as a mother feel that your show is a great show for children. Teaching and reminding them to share and be kind to eachother. Teaching them to dance and listen to music. It is a wonderful show!

The most disappointing part about Season 2 is losing Mazz. The new character Jazz simply isn't as bubbly as Mazz. I'd love to see Kim Roberts return to the show!!! The other changes will definitely take some getting used to, like Audio Murphy. I like Moe's shorter hair, and I'm glad the masks are gone. Deedee looks great too, but could use a little more eye make-up. One more thing, I don't like the new songs as much as the older ones. My 1 yr. old's favorite song is "Bird is the Word", and the other day while watching another episode she yelled out, "Doo-Doo-Bah"! She loves the Doodlebops! I hope they'll come to Beaumont, Texas!

My daughter is upset with the looks of the new season and the absence of the "old" DeeDee...what should I tell her?? She is 6 years old and we really enjoyed the first season. Thank You

Is there a new DeeDee? We were watching the eposode the bring a sound arounder was in and it didn't look or sound like her!

As a mother to a 3 year ols and an 18 month old they are big fans of The Doodlebops but we DON'T LIKE all the new changes, My three year old asked "Where are DeeDee's ears?" and today she asked why Rooney didn't have lip stuff on. We miss Mazz and the moose, CHANGE IT ALL BACK, please we love the Doodlebops,my 3 year old was just getting to know all the people now they've all changed, We give it 3 thumbs down!!!!

Big changes for season two -- we are in shock, but hopefully the household will slowly adapt! At first we thought Dee-Dee was replaced with a new actress who was just really good at copying the original Dee-Dee, and we were devastated! But after watching and rewatching we noticed her dimple and realized it was still our girl! Her new costume shows off her new tiny figure, she still looks cute -- but Dee-Dee needs to eat a burger or something. It is definitely interesting to watch this revamped Dee-Dee, though she seems to have lost a bit of her original Dee-Dee'ness.

We totally miss Mazz! Please bring her back, or replace her with a different unique character who is not so copy-cat. No offense, but the new Jazz character just totally misses the mark, and is quite annoying. I mean it... we REALLY miss MAZZ! (Please never get rid of Bus Driver Bob, he is a huge part of the show.)

And, not to be overly-critical, but that little dj creature is annoying. The kids glaze over when they see him, his overly-hip factor is a bit tired and played-out. He just seems out of place, not Doodlebop material. How about you get rid of the weird critter, and instead give Bob more screen time!

Also, the green-screen graphics are really annoying. Please consider going back to the previous set design and style -- it was so much more pleasant to watch before. Your old sets added an important dimension to the show, somehow it is lost now with all the A.D.D.-inducing acid-trip graphics. I will definitely restrict my kids watching this season, now that there is just too much of everything. And please please please put some more eyeliner on the Doodlebops. For this new season, their eyes are just lost, they look tired and washed out, and the teeth now look more yellow in contrast.

Thank you for your consideration.

My daughter loves the doodle bops. She can't get enough of them I have recorded them on our DVR so that I can play them throughout the day when she is cranky or I need to do something without her "helping". I love the new show I don't care what the other parents think it's great! The only thing I agree about is "Jazz" she is no fun and has no life when she speaks I hope you get someone who is more like MAZZ.I love DEEDEE's new look very nice. Please come to Utah for a show I would love to take my daughter.

im 15 years old and i barley watch any tv im always bizy with my 1 year old and in the time that i do have to myself i try and keep my grades up to an A average and work on my volleyball skills, but from the very first time i sat down and watched the doodlebops with my son we wake up almost everymorning right on time just to watch the doodlebops thats the only time i have to really spend with my son. but now that you have changed the whole show you changed mazz and made deedee into a whole diffrent girl. i dont want my son watching something like that. he wanted to be momo (as he says) for halloween. but i dont think that would be a very good idea. i think that you should change it back

My 17 month old daughter and I LOVE the Doodlebops! The new features of the show are great but I have to agree with a previous comment about the flashes and background. It does take away from the characters a bit and is a bit overkill. I check everyday to see when the US tour will start...please come to Philly!!! We can't wait to see the Doodlebops....

My son loves the Doodlebops first season and I find myself singing the songs all the time. Now that the second season is on, it is not as good. We miss the way the show used to be.

season two is much better. the fake ears and head piece of season one were goofy. maz is missing this time though.

I have to agree with previous posters, the new show seems more flashy, almost too much. I like it better when it was simple. It had a cute charm. As for the new costumes, they do make the characters look different. I too had to check the credits at the end to make sure they were the same actors, however I think they look great, except DeeDee's. She looks like she jumped from being 4 in the first season to 15 in the second. The thinner, more form fitting outfit takes away from the child like quality that she had in the first season. I do not like Jazz, I don't know why Mazz left, but they should bring someone else in for the 3rd season. I love audio Murphy! He is so cool, but they shouldn't record a video every show, they need to go back outside once in a while. The new bus scene stinks. WAY TO MUCH! They should tone down on the computer graphics and balance out season one's version with season two. My son loves the Doodlebops and I have to admit I do too. I was so glad to see new episodes as we have seen season one's over and over and over and over and over. I'm excited to see they are now doing live tours, I can't wait until they get down here to Texas.

I am COMPLETELY disappointed in all the new changes!!! I think the only one I agree with is omitting the costume lines around their faces. Other than that, the show made ridiculous (and completely unwarranted) modifications.

First of all, Deedee's dress was perfectly fine the way it was...functional and cute. What mother would prefer tight and short for their toddler/preschooler??? With that one change, the show accepted certain unsettling mainstream influences and okay'd the idea to tell our young girls, "Tight and short dresses are cooler than functional and cute ones." What's next? Mini-skirts and crop tops?? They'd probably say even that's okay as long as there's room for the keyboard along the bott om. Uh, no.

Secondly, if you have to replace any character, but especially one as adored as Mazz, for crying out loud have the foresight to find someone just as lovable, yet completely unique. Jazz, as talented as she may be (although I'm not quite convinced of her talent yet), comes across as just "the next best thing", or the best look-alike they could find (as sad as that is). I have no idea why the producers felt they had to fit the stage manager into this perfect mold of what they feel she should be. Why not get the jumping girl from the first season to fill the role. Or for the very least think outside the "Mazz" box a little on the wardrobe! My point is, if you have to make a significant change, at least make it worth your while.

While there are other things I detest about the new format, I'll just mention one more...makeup. What on earth was wrong with the makeup from the first season??? This new airbrush technique is leaving me wondering...is that an industrial grade fluorescent blue light shining directly on Rooney from no more than 3 inches away or did he come across some high-density radioactive rat poison that he mistook for a jolly rancher? The only answer I can think of that they may have for this change is that it's easier for them. And that's okay, right? Because mediocrity is completely acceptable as long as it makes the crew's jobs easier. Heaven forbid we make them actually WORK for their ratings, because that would actually put them...gasp!...on our level!

Okay, I think I've made my point.
