About This Website

Why did we choose the name for our website? During each episode of The Doodlebops, before leaving the house, Moe Doodle goes to the rope. While the two busts on the wall, DeeDee and Rooney and kids being interviewed on the street all say, "Don't pull the rope". Moe doesn't listen though, and pulls it anyway, drenching himself with water each episode. Moe finds the drenching quite refreshing.

Why did we decide to create a website for The Doodlebops? We did this because our son Alex, a huge fan of The Wiggles for 2 years out of his short 2.5-year life saw one episode of the Doodlebops, and fell quickly in love. He now wants to watch Bop Bop all day long. His cousin, who is 3.5 years old, is the same way. The Disney Channel has now shown The Doodlebops 7 times, beginning on Monday April 11th and showing Monday thru Friday. If these two young boys, both who so love the Wiggles, could so easily fall in love with The Doodlebops, then there must be thousands of other parents out there with children who have also recently changed alliances. This site is for all those parents out there who wish to know more about these people who have taken over their child's television preferences. It is also for those adults who simply like the Doodlebops themselves, and wish to find out more about them.
