Space Invader - Season 2, July 27, 2006

Today's song: Movin' and a Groovin'
Secondary song: The Blame Game

Moe's Hiding Place: With Mudge

Moe keeps invading DeeDee and Rooney's personal space. DeeDee sends him away, as does Rooney. Then Moe keeps moving around. They decide to write a song about Moe and his energy.

Even at the studio he gets in Audio Murphy's space until Rooney tells him to move.

Moe even invades Bus Driver Bob's space. Bob tells him to sit down and respect his spot. Moe apologizes and then finally learns his lesson.

Today's Joke
Knock Knock
Who's There?
Police
Police who?
Police let me in, it's cold out.

The Doddlebop Lesson of the Day
Don't invade the personal space of others.

Show and Tell - Season 2, July 28, 2006

Today's song: Communicate
Secondary song: Different Point of View

Moe's Hiding Place: Under a fake palm tree

Moe does charades with the Doodlebops. They enjoy it and DeeDee decides to write a song about communicating without words.

While DeeDee writes, Moe and Rooney work on music. DeeDee can sing and match the key Rooney is playing. Rooney keeps raising the octave and DeeDee keeps matching. Finally he reaches an octave too high for DeeDee and she strains her voice.

Jazz tells DeeDee she has overworked her voice and the she must rest it. No more talking or singing for the day.

For the video Rooney and Moe practice singing for DeeDee so she can rest her voice, but that isn't going to work.

The rest pays off, and after the first song at the concert DeeDee has her voice back and is able to sing for the rest of the concert.

Today's Joke
Knock Knock
Who's There?
Ketchup
Ketchup who?
Ketchup to me and I'll tell you.

The Doddlebop Lesson of the Day
We use non-talking communication every day.

Hold Your Horses - Season 2, September 11, 2006

Today's song: Hold Your Horses
Secondary song: I Can Dance With You

Moe's Hiding Place: Behind a pole

The Doodlebops are each going to do something they enjoy today. Moe will read, Rooney will invent and DeeDee will sing. They rush about and Jazz tells them to slow down.

Moe reads just the first and last page of each book. Rooney begins inventing before he knows what he wants to invent.

At the studio, Rooney needs to put the final touches on his world changing invention, but even after he finishes, it doesn't work.

Bus Driver Bob helps Rooney and Moe realize that skipping steps isn't good because you can miss something important.

Today's Joke
Knock Knock
Who's There?
Zany
Zany who?
Zany body want the rest of my hot dog?

The Doddlebop Lesson of the Day
Take your time and don't skip steps when doing something.
